Centrelink Stones Corner - best time to visit?

Anyone know when is likely to be a quiet time to go here? For some reason they want my passport and I can either line up at the local JP to get a copy of it certified then take the copy to Medicare, or I can take the passport itself to Centrelink directly. Hoping CL is the quicker option.

Hey Nonny! I do know that first thing in the morning is an absolute no no unless you need an appt (which you dont). They finish booking appt's at about 9.15am so everybody gets there early to ensure they get one (most stupid system in the world!!). I would also avoid lunch time because they obviously all go to lunch which halves the number of staff actually working!! DP went in around morning tea time the other day (I think it was around 10am) and there was only 1 other person in line, so maybe try around then or arvo tea time maybe. Goodluck with that! lol... (I HATE going to centrelink!). See you tomorrow :D

Thanks Bec, I might try to pop in after our meet tomorrow (hopefully after the lunch staffing issues). I'd love to go earlier, but DS will be napping from 9 - 11 and I ain't messing with that!
