 I -HAVE- to show this off! I cannot wait to put it on Nugget's little bot-bot!

I can't claim that I made it.. I showed my dad's wife some pocket nappies and she thought they were great and promptly sent me an email with websites of PUL asking me which patterns I wanted her to make nappies from  This was the first one she made, she decided to go 3 sizes and used microfleece for this one (her first one) with a hospital grade waterproofing stuff on the inside just before the other layer of microfleece... Soooooooo cute! She said she'll make me heaps of newie ones, then move onto making medium ones and use the exy-PUL stuff for the bigger sized ones.

I was sooo chuffed at how cute it was so I thought "I HAVE to show it off" it's so little and cute and I'm so appreciative!
Here's the little, cute nappy... it's going to go on my little girl's bot-bot! (http://www.flickr.com/photos/nikki_m/179318414/)
Speaking of bot-bots, there's a butterfly on this one! (http://www.flickr.com/photos/nikki_m/179318453/)
 Soo cute..

Show off your homemade nappies!!!!

not PUL in the middle (too expensive to use on her first one, in fact she's decided it's too exy to use on the newie ones) but some waterproof stuff that they use on raincots and on like waterproof pillowcaes and stuff.. she lined it with that. so there's 3 layers to the nappy, Microfleece inner & outer and waterproof inside lining!

And thank you Mandy, Jen, Ali & Nemosmum, they are the cutest thingies in the world :D (and soooo tiny)

Seekrit - it is gorgeous!!!!

Can you tell me where you got the pattern from?? My lovely grandma said she would make me some but she is having troubles getting a hold of some patterns....

Seekrit

She used this pattern (http://www.geocities.com/rew4birth/AIO_Instructions.html?200629) which is for a One-size-fits-all AIO with snappies..
THEN she modified the pattern so it would be a pocket nappy instead, decided to make 3 different sized patterns and used velcro instead of snappies!

nappiescovered.com.au have a pattern as well!

I'll let her know how many undie orders we have, eh? lol

I think there must be a delay or something on these things. I can see them fine when I click on the links. This happened with another one of my link posts and eventually it came through for others to see. I'll check again later, maybe it will work, otherwise I'll try an imageshack link.:D

Sooo cute. My mum is about to make mine for me - just wondering where you got the waterproof stuff from?

I don't know if she did get it from spotlight or not, but it's stuff that they might wind-cheaters out of so maybe ask at the craft type stores :D

My first couple of home made nappies were experimental, so I actually used a cut up mattress protector. You can buy them in spotlight or Kmart ( I think the kmart ones are a stronger material, so would recommend this)for about $10. That is a lot of waterproof material. It sews in OK too.

That's a good idea Sal - the first few aren't usually a raging success and it's a shame to waste expensive fabric (says the person who did just that! ).

You can buy PUL (the waterproof fabric) at a few places. www.bubbaearth.com.au is cheapest for plain white or www.nappiescovered.com.au has really nice prints. Both will post to you :)
