Do you roll in the legs of the Jo Fold or you really don't have to worry about it? I seriously need pooh containment!
Origami fold not working, triangle too bulky, kite fold good but he needs to be a bit bigger for it. Pooh catcher fold can't figure out lol and the ro fold to elaborate to do every change.

I could never get the hang of the Jo Fold. The 2 I found the best are the ones you've already tried, the origami fold, and I would roll in at the legs or the kite when they grew out of the origami, and again I also rolled in at the legs. Both of these worked ok for us with poo containment - except for the explosions that nothing would hold in regardless of the nappy type. Mind you I must admit that I was always relieved when they started doing more solid poos - breastfed poos and flat nappies really didn't work too well!!
My mum always drove me nuts too because whenever she did a nappy change she never rolled them in at the legs and there was always nappy poking out the cover :hair:
Anyway - sorry not much help!

I'm starting to think no matter what fold I use it's just like you mentioned no matter what the fold the big blow outs just don't get contained lol.
I think the secret is more in the cover than the fold . I don't use terry flats but do use prefolds . I always roll or tuck in around the legs which helps a bit . I use covers with gussets , thirsties and bummis and I haven't had a blow out yet . The inside of the cover is usually a mess with a big blow out but it never makes it past the leg gussets .
It's not just a problem with flats as the fitteds I use with elastic around the legs still don't contain those major poos !!
Good covers are your best friend

the only covers that have leaked are wool soakers for obvious reasons lol. I use wonderwraps and bbh which dont have gussetts and the pooh stays in. :dizzy: I have maz covers now so we shall see how they go lol.

modify any terry fold to suit your bubba. rolling legs is best for containment, also a microfleece liner cut with a wide butt shape helps catch poos too instead of rectangular shape.
