Lookine for a Perth paediatrician who understands reflux

Hi,
I would be so grateful for any recommendations of paediatricians in Perth who understand reflux. I am hoping to find someone who can help manage my 4 month old from a medical point of view but also offer me some support emotionally.

My current paed doesn't seem to recognise the huge impact it has on his overall wellbeing (and I'm starting to struggle seeing him so unhappy all the time!) I live in Morley but am willing to travel for the right person.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Slattery at Murdoch St John of God with my ds and his reflux. Dr Slattery had nothing but time and patience with me and all my 'stupid' questions!

He was very supportive with ds' reflux, and was able to offer things to try before we started him on meds. By the same token, when those things weren't successful after a week, he was very supportive about putting him on meds. He made lots of non-medical suggestions, which I really appreciated, bc sometimes it seems Dr's are very quick just to put them on meds.

With all that being said, when I went back after a week of trying them - with me in tears - he was very caring and supportive!
