Hey Gary,
Good question...
I'll have a go at it.
I believe deep down we all have some degree of love in our bones. We forget the unconditional love we once gave and felt as little ones.As soon as we're able to talk, society says how we should act, what we can and cant do,what we must and must not do.We just get confused and off the beaten track once in a while. When we dont like something someones done,we're quick to judge. The outcome can cause hate.(the opposite).
I think i may have taken too long to answer your question, the threads moved on.lol

It looks like you are the only one to answer seriously - good on you I say.
I just want to say its so true that ppl ARE quick to judge.
I think a true Christian wouldn't do anything that Jesus himself wouldn't do
I try to think this way.
It is very difficult thinking that ppl annoy you but you have to bite your tongue
-that is what Jesus did.

I guess so kymmy but I cant understand why a Christian doesn't say God, rather than god.

I try to overlook that as I am sure Gary is very new to the net, do you think?
Give him a chance- I bet he feels like he's been picked on.
Gosh, I know that feeling....
So, if you are Christian would you follow Him or say it doesn't matter cos you are guaranteed a seat in Heaven no matter what you do?

I'm actually pretty free in what I belive.
I believe that Jesus died on the Cross for our sins.
I had ny child Baptised into the church.
But my faith is personal....I know that I'll go Heaven.
That's my faith.

I love God. I was baptised as was my dd and dh. Confirmed etc.
It gives me spiritual peace to believe in him and love him. I will only ever know for sure when the time comes if my faith is valid. All i know, is that the hope I receive by loving God helps me to live my day to day life.

i think fear and hatred come from the head not the heart, its an animal instinct.

I'd take that one step further. Fear and hatred must be learnt behaviour....in humans. Our children are born with no preconceived ideas of right or wrong, black or white, different religions. They are tolerant of all. As they grow older they learn the intolerance that hampers this world. Itsa tragedy that we, as parents, may have negatively influenced our childrens thinking.
I for one, hope that I have influenced my dd positively, that she knows that there is one God with many different names to many different people, but we are all the same. That God loves us all and we should love him.
Does that make any sense?:D
