I have a bug-a-boo nappy bag that seems really, really narrow and I was looking at my cousins OIOI bag that is a lot more wider and user friendly.

I have found two OIOI bags on Ebay. One has the side spots for insulating bottles and one doesn't.
If I dont bottle feed (breastfeed instead), could I still use those bottle holders for water/sippy cups for when the baby is on solids and drinking water???

First one: (With side bottle holders)

I have this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/OiOi-OI-OI-Zebra-tote-diaper-bag-New-ORP-170_W0QQitemZ320410702734QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Nap pies?hash=item4a99f7538e&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

but in the kiwi pattern - it is an awesome size (I have 3mo twins, plus a 2yo in cloth nappies). Big enough to fit 2 nappie changes each in and a few spare clothes/wipes etc. We don't need the bottle part either, so i leave that bit out. I had a built in bottle cooler in my old nappy bag, and it was a PITA, just took up space. But the time my other kids were eating food and needed the cooling space, it was easier to take a cooler bag separate with food in it.

ETA: My first nappy bag had the big flap over the top and it was annoying to lift it to get into the bag.

On the first one:
- The side pockets look like any bottle put in them would be prone to falling out. I'd prefer an elastic around the top of the pocket to help hold the bottle in place. The sippy cups I used would not have fit.
- side pockets are more likely going to be useful for your keys, wallet & phone (if you're like me and don't always want to take a purse AND nappy bag)
- the strap doesn't look like it has any extra padding where it goes over your shoulder. It's potentially going to hurt
, changes of clothes, and snacks.

2nd bag -
- the internal pocket/divider is useful
- I can't see any way to secure the side pockets closed. If that's the case I would not be comfortable putting anything of value in them (keys, wallet, phone, etc).
- same comment on the strap as for #1.
- top opening looks narrower than the bag, which could make it harder to search for that lost dummy hiding in the bottom corner.

I personally wouldn't buy either, but that's me. I bought a backpack style to save my back :) If I had to choose I'd probably go for #2 because the internal compartments are going to be useful.

It looks like on both of them the bottle holders are separate. The side pockets on the first seem to be just that. Pockets.

In saying that though I prefer the insulated bottle holders to be separate. And out of the two I like the second one best. I had sticky out pockets on a nappy bag I had and hated them. They kept getting caught on stuff and opening.

I have an OiOi as well and found that I also had problems in that there is no padding for the shoulder strap. The amount of stuff we lug around as mums is crazy, and makes the bags so heavy! But if that isn't an issue for you then no probs :)

I like the second one better for looks :D

id say the second one.
i have an oioi nappy bag. (like the 1st one but the same pattern as the 2nd)
It drove my insane. It didnt hold all the stuff i wanted (change of clothes, jumper, wipes nappies only just fit inside of it)
I wish mine had a zipper because the velco kept coming undone and would get caught on everything.

Thanks for your opinions. Still not sure! I guess that the flap would be annoying when trying to get into the bag quickly (if it was hanging over the pram especially).

I recommend the gr8x Backpack Duo in black:
http://www.gr8x.net/interiorpages/bags/backpack_duo.shtml

From the looks of the OiOi nappy bags you'll like the material.
I love it as it can separate off into two bags, has enough room to cart around everything I need for my toddler, and soon to be newborn. I am using the front section as a substitute for my handbag.
It can be carried on your back so you won't strain your back. It has a special strap for connecting to the pram etc.

The construction is sturdy and it has a 2 year warranty. Picked mine up for $109

I never bought a nappy bag. You can just use whatever bag you already have, or whatever bag you like.

I have the OiOi Messenger Bag in Chocolate Brown & Baby Blue....its a great bag, gorgeous design very spacey.....however I find myself using it less now because I recently bought a stroller for my 4 month old DS it tends to tip up the stroller a bit :( I bought a Maclaren and it is very light, so keep in consideration of where you would put it on your pram as well (if you have space under the pram great....but it is a big bag if you dont).

Thanks for that. Can you use the side pockets for other types of water bottles/sippy cups etc or only bottles?
My cousin has the same pram as me (bug-a-boo) (with the same nappy bag as you) and hasnt said anything about it tipping the pram over, so I should be ok with it hanging over.

Yea it wont tip over if you have a bigger bulkier pram...when I was using my Strider DLX I had no probs its only now cos im using a lightweight Maclaren Stroller it does :( I dont really use the side pockets to tell u the truth, the bag comes with an insulated bottle bag so I just stick a bottle in there but yea you could stick other types of bottles in the sides depending on how big there were. David Jones sells the bags maybe you could check em out they have quite a good range there.

Before I buy one online I am going to check them out in a shop first (where they are around $40 more expensive). I have to admit that I already have 5 nappy bags! Two were gifts (ugly), one I won (the bug-a-boo) and two I bought (which I sorta like and might end up using both of them, interchange.). The oioi would replace the bug-a-boo bag and seems to be 'bigger' and more practical then all the ones I own!
