hoping a few of you long term or older child MCN users can help....

DD is 5.5 months old. she is full time in MCN's...

i have a fairly big itti bitti stash and love them however, i have just started her on formula and she is piddling like a trooper!

nearly every nappy change her clothes are wet (about every 3 hours on average)...

so i need recommendations for 2 types of nappies... a night nappy (i heard krapkatchers are good?) .....and also daytime nappies...

 please help! :hair: TIA

My DS is a pee machine & out pees itti's too. It was a sad day when I sold them :(

It all depends how big your DD is & if you want sized or OSFM.

For my 15mth old, I use mostly OSFM. I'm slowly selling off the sized ones & converting to OSFM as when my 3mth old gets a little bigger (he's still in newborn sized ATM), it'll be much easier to have them in the same size.

So my daytime recommendations may not fit her yet. I love fluffybubs (OSFM), genesa forge (sized), abbygros (OSFM) & wild child (sized, but very big)

For nights I love my Fluffybubs dreams which are sized.

There is a lady who runs a try before you buy service, which means you don't get stuck buying ones that don't work. You 'borrow' them for 2 or 4 weeks for a small fee.

BTW- I love your kids names :)

do any of those nappies need a waterproof cover?

are they reputable brands or are they from WAHM's?

No, no cover needed. They are AI2's.

They are from reputable WAHM's :p

Ds doesnt get very long out of his ittis, usually a couple of hours but on some occasions an hour max.

Our daytime nappies which work really well are... greenkids, issy bears, bbh magicalls & bambooty's.

For night time we've just started using a fluffy bub & the 2nd night is an aldi sposie until I can get another night nappy lol.

Which Itti's are you using the snap-ins or the sewn-ins? I find the sewn-ins don't last long on my DD but the snap-ins hold heaps. Have you tried adding a snap mini bamboo booster? I noticed that they helped my sewn-in last a bit longer?

Hope you can get them sorted out. My DD is 14 months old and still wearing her medium Itti snap-ins without any hassles or leaks.

Goodluck.

Im getting around 2-3hrs out of my Itti snap in. and 2hrs max out of my sewn in. You could try boosting? to get a bit more out of them??? or maybe you might just need to change more often? and boost at sleep times?

I've heard that Sandman and Wild childs are good night nappies and BonniBuns for heavy wetters.
