New to forum - Meeting my donor soon

Hi all, Just found this web forum and am finding it very interesting . I am just starting out with IVF and have to use donor eggs. I have been on waiting list for ages and have just found out that there is a clinic recruited egg donor that is happy to donate to me. I will be meeting her soon at the clinic and was wondering if any one can help settle my nerves about what to say /do ? How to breath? How not to faint / cry ? Anything I can do to stop her changing her mind as soon as she sees me? :eek: :eek: As you can see I'm a bit nervous about the meeting . How do other people manage?

Hi Shanni. Well congratulations on finding a donor. All I can do to help is this :hugs: . I think you will find that your donor is probably feeling the same way as you! I can tell you this because I have already met with one couple re egg donation. Although we had the chance to get to know each other before hand I was still very nervous at our meeting. Even though they didn't choose me we are still great friends. I am now talking with another wonderful couple and cant wait to meet them!
For your meeting; just take a deep breath and be yourself. If this women is donating for the right reasons then she should take one look at you and want to hug/cry with you!:yes:
