A friend of mine had her baby there and loved it.
It's just been revamped and is very plush apparantly. I didn't get a chance to visit her in hospital so I didn't see it myself, but she said wonderful things about it.
I would have mine there too if I didn't live so far away from there.
You can also check out their credentials at the perinatal data lists and find out what their intervention rates are like. :D The hospital will have a number assigned to it at the start of the report so you just need to look for the number when you're reading through the tables. Good luck!

Dear Ruth,
I had my first child (2003) and my second child (Sept 2005) at Masada. I was delighted with the nursing staff, however like most hopitals when they are busy you need to ring if you need help and make sure that your needs are also being attended too.
Some of the rooms have been revamped and they are lovely. The room I stayed in was a new room and was a decent size. It included a built in babies bath and change table.
Masada has daily programs for new mothes, eg sleep routines, pelvic floor awareness and exercises. If you go to Masada attend these sessions as they are useful and you meet other Mothers.
I would definitely use Masada again.
Cheers

Great to read these posts. I am in the process of deciding between Masada and Sandringham. I wanted to go to Cabrini but apparently it's booked already for August 2006. I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 7 weeks so I left it too late apparently. Cabrini sounds like it's very popular. The day classes at Masada sound good. I'd heard it had changed hands so I was wondering what it is like. I can't get in to do a tour until the end of the month. Good luck!!!
