thats what I used to do before I discovered FF, it does work... as long as you can accurately chart your cm

there is a book out there, its pretty old, called the billings method, which explains it all.

This is the first time that I have began charting with temps. Other months I just made a note in my diary of cd1 through to cd28 - and what kind of results I could see on OPK's. When I got my maybe baby I planned on charting ferning, but I never saw any.

This time around I'm using FF to do ALL of the above. Though my diary wont be made redundant - I have to write it down SOMEWHERE before I get to my laptop!

Hi all

For 2 months I charted everything...temps, CM, pains etc etc. I tried OPK's but never got a positive on them until I read that they are not effective if you are on certain fertility meds....duh!

This month I am charting symptoms only. I found that temping made me really stressed and I was concentrating so hard on what my temp was doing. I am recording any O symptoms and days we BD and that is about it.

I read the Billings Method book and really like the idea, but I found that I don't have a lot of change in my CM and especially because I never really know when I am O'ing we BD more than once or twice and so that also "muddies the waters" if you pardon the expression!

If I have no luck this month I am thinking of buying a Maybebaby. I have heard good things about them.

Good luck to everyone :fingerscrossed:
