Hi,
Have any mums been in this position?

Bubs is almost 12 months, has been on solids since 6 months and eats like a trooper!! Loves her food and will eat close to anything BUT she HATES milk! She is down to 2 breastfeeds a day because I'm back at work - unfortunately one of my boobs has run dry!! (is this normal?) so she seems content to feed off one. I have tried since she was 6 months to give her expressed milk, formula and since she was 9 months cows milk!! But she refuses any milk unless it comes straight from the boob!! She has cows milk in her cereal no worries and drinks water and prune/apple juice through the day. I want to stop breastfeeding when she turns 1 but am worried about the milk issue. She eats cheese and yoghurt but is this enough?

Any non milk drinkers out there?
Please share your stories.

Hi Jessica
I don't have the problem with mine, but I did read (somewhere :o ) that as long as you are getting the 3 serves of dairy that your child need, there's no need to worry if that doesn't come from milk, so if she's eating cheese and yoghurt, having some milk and you sneak some more in in different ways (there are other sources of calcium - sesame seeds, vegies, tinned fish) I'm sure she's fine.

Cheers
