Hi there!
I'm quite pregnant and getting a little bit concerned about breastfeeding my 19-month-old as well as my newborn. I've read the ABA info, but was hoping to hear from mums who have experience doing this... or thoughts...
At the moment I'm feeding DS first thing in the morning and after his afternoon sleep.
His first word was "boob" and I don't think I could wean him even if I wanted to (which I don't yet).

Hey
I had a milk addict when I was pg..... while I was pg I fed her first thing in the morning (in bed) and last thing at night (and sometimes in the afternoon if I wanted her to fall asleep for a day nap), but she would have fed all day if I let her

When new bub was born she wanted to feed every time the baby did. Which was actually ok as it helped heaps with engorgement and leaking (as in I didn't get either).

Gradually I started saying no to my toddler when bub was feeding. She wasn't happy about that.

What sort of concerns do you have?

As long as the new bub gets in first, then there is nothing wrong with it, and the extra demand is good for supply. (I tandem fed DD4 & DD5, and DD5 weaned before DD4 did.)
