I had to put Ds in disposables for a few days while I was away with no washing facilities. His now got nappy rash, is all red, bumpy and looks quite sore.

I know you shouldn't use cream on their bottom going straight onto mcn's... but does it matter which sort of liner I use? I have some cheap coles brand nappy liners which are much like chux... Would this be enough to prevent it reaching the nappy? I don't usually use liners at all...

I don't want to ruin our lovely nappies though!! :(:o

I use flushable liners and it still ot past that.. the best is fleece. What kind of cream are you using?

yes i think those liners would be fine! I used them until I made some re-useable ones.

hope the rash clears up quickly. I always get good results from a zinc based cream

Thanks plenty :). Usually only takes 1 or 2 applications of nappy cream & its all cleared up.

I went to spotlight and brought some polar fleece, chep cost me like 80cents. cut it in to liner strips and use that if i am caking on the cream i use bio degradable liners on top of the fleece and have had no problems, the cream is very hard to get of the nappy itself if it gets on there i had it on one it has come of its taken like 6 weeks thoguh
