Looking for Private Hospital + Ob St George/Sutherland Sydney

Hi there,
We r new to sydney and have moved to sutherland area. Just found out we r expecting bub #2 so need to find a good private hospital and Ob (prefer female). Would appreciate any local knowledge!

I have been seeing her for years & have been very happy with her, she is very well know in the area, my family doctor highly recommend her, his wife had all her 4 kids with Booth & had her 1 st child at st george private & the other 3 at Hurstville (they preferred hurstville) ! :p

I am expecting my second baby, I can recommend two ob's:

Dr Queeny Wong at St George Private Hospital - she is excellent, her rooms are in St George Private Hospital, I found her to be more of a friend than a Dr - Very easy to talk to and she has a great sense of humour!

This time I am going through Dr Norman Chan - he is at Miranda ph 9525 8265 - I am going through him this time as I want to deliver at Kareena Private ( at Caringbah ) as it is closer to home for me than St George Private.

CONGRATULATIONS on Bub #2 and welcome to "The Shire"!!
I had 1st bub in Hurstville Community Private Hospital - great hospital, can highly reccommend it - and Dr James Opperman delivered him - very caring, gentle and friendly man (has a family of his own and lives in the Sutherland Shire).
My 2nd bub was born at St George Public hospital (we couldn't afford Obstetrician fees on one wage) and I visited the clinic at the hospital for pregnancy care - I found the clinic fantastic and the labour ward great - the only difference (minor) was that the food was better in the Private Hospital!!
