Whats all this about?

I have a question!:D .... My last af finished on the 13-14th June( i think) so i thought i O'd on the 20th so we BDd and now toady (the 30th) im having a little bit of brownish CM. I also feel as if im getting AF because i have a slight achey feeling in the lower back/tummy area. Could this be the implantation thingy or am i just grasping at straws:laughing: !!! I did a test this morning with my second wee and got a BFN but i shouldnt be due for Af for another 5 days at least...
What do you think? Sorry for posting this as i know im just thinking out loud...:D

Hi jazzymum.

That would be good timing for implantation bleeding, usually around day 8 - 10.

You cant really test for about 4 days after implantation because it's developing placenta that releases the hcG hormone that the tests pick up.

Hope it turns out to be a baby!

Sorry this will be TMI! I just went to the loo and there is a bit of CM thats is kind of creamy with a faint bloodish tinge to it...is this what implantation bleeding looks like? I know i had a bit when i was pg with jazz but cant remember what it looked like...as i said im not due for AF for a few days at least. What do you think?

If I tested before the implantation bit would i have got a BFP if i was pg or was it still too early?

Jazzysmum, i think you need to wait till its implanted to get a BFP only because when it burrows in it puts these little like tenticles into the uterus and the hormonal changes come from that! i think! i tested 7 DPO and it was - some people need to wait till 20 DPO to get a +. Patience is not a virtue of a woman in the TTW! :fingerscrossed:

how long was AF? you said it finished on the 13 14th, same as me and mine was 5 days, so 14 days after the start of AF i O'd on the 24th, so today im 7 dpo

6-7th june AF starts
14 (?) finishes
20th O(?)
27 BFN
29 BFN
30 then brownish CM
Today more CM

you might still need to wait a bit for a BFP, a chart i saw of someone elses, had a BFN at day 27 but then a + at day 30 and you're now about day 26 - roughly.

i read on another thread that 8-10 dpo is when they got implantation bleeding so you're at 11 DPO today and 10 DPO on the 30th so :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:

TMI in return - if the discharge is creamy with a blood tinge or even thicker than usual and clear with a blood tinge it's a good sign of implantation, it could also be detatchment of egg for your af but hopefully not :fingerscrossed:

Hi Jazzysmum - like everyone said, its still possible too early. But I got a BFP on dpo10, and later that day I got what I think was implantation bleeding. Just a little bit of spotting - a bit of a watery stain. It was gone the next day.

Sorry for the late reply Jazzysmum, im day 23 or 8 dpo so now af till next week, but im terribly bloated today with stomach pains. strange!
