what are laundry tabs??

we are making our nappy covers with Velcro and was wondering what laundry tabs are, cause they seemed to be mentioned a lot. thanks heaps!

velcro on the inner of the wing so you can fold the rough velcro over so it doesnt catch on things in the wash. It just folds over itself and sticks down :)

They're an extra bit of loop the same size as the hook sewn in right next to the hook. When the covers/nappies are being wash you fold it back so the hook doesn't catch on things and doesn't get filled up with lint and what not. Does that make sense?

thanks i though that it would be something like that,but it now makes much more sense.
