We bought a pram 11mths ago and has only had 10mths use but rarely used it as we have 2 others. Anyway, a few weeks ago while we were out walking the back wheel went flying off - luckily it didnt fall on it's side and DS was strapped in (thank god, as i dont always strap him) So i put the wheel back on and walked on very carefully and then it came off again. Thankfully i only had a couple of hundred metres left to walk. I told DH about it and he blamed me for not putting it on properly so i gave him the benefit of the doubt and let him check it over and this time he put it on properly I waited a couple of weeks till i regained enough confidence to use it again and what do you know but it went flying off as i was walking down a hill but being prepared for it i was holding on tight so DS didnt go tumbling down. I paid $450 for this pram thinking it would not only do the job but do it well and its only given me grief its still under warranty and im going to do my best and getting a reffund as theirs noway i would ever put my baby in it again, i dread what would of happened if he wasnt strapped in/if it happened crossing a road or if i was holding it loosely allowing it to fall on its side and crack open DS head! I have lost complete trust in it and dont want a repair job. I know its going to be hard to get one so im asking anyone out their for any tips/advice??
Do you think im over reacting and asking too much?

If it is under warranty and is obviously faulty just take it back. Of course you aren't overreacting - it is unusable and unsafe.

Stay calm when you explain the problem and tell them what it is that you want - either a new pram, a repaired pram or a refund. Then stay firm but calm until they do what you have asked. I have taken my pram in for repairs on a number of occasions (nothing as serious as yours) and have had no dramas with getting it fixed at no cost.
Good luck.

They will fix it free of charge but i dont want it fixed, if i see it in 10 years it will be too soon. I dont care if i dont get a full refund, but i do want some sort of refund. I just wouldnt have the confidence to ever use it again.
I have rung the repairer and it's up to him whether he decides that it is fixable or not. But i have told him nicely i will be pushing the issue about getting a refund.
