What time of day to test ovulation???

Hi there,

I was just wondering what time of day do you test for ovulation?

I have just bought some OPK and unsure to test first thing in the morning or afternoon. I'm very tempted to test morning and afternoon, but is this a waste or not? I missed my ovulation last month so I really want to make sure I don't miss this month.

What time during the day do you test? And how often?

Any input will be great!!

Hi Rachael. I think they say you should use OPKs between the hours of 10am and 6pm or something like that. I think the main thing is to avoid first morning urine.

Yup - I agree with Chicken - avoid first morning urine - and even second if you can help it. When I fell pg the last 2 times it was using OPK's that helped. I would test first thing when I got home from work - so that was about 5:30 or 6pm at night.
