Boosting Bumgenius Pocket to make a night nappy

Hi:wave:.
I am using Bumgenius pockets during the day with the inserts that come with them without any problems. I'm still using disposables at night, but was thinking about getting some hemp or bamboo to put in the pocket at night to make it more absorbent.
My DS is 3 months old, but I think quite a heavy wetter, I usually change his disposable once overnight (after about 6 hours) and it is usually really full and heavy.
Does anyone use their Bumgenius at night and what do you stuff it with?
Or any better suggestions for a night nappy?

I used one as a night nappy when DS was about the same age as your bub.

I used a Baby Beehinds bamboo booster as well as the 2 boosters that came with it.

This only worked until he was about 6 months and started wetting more, and I changed to a bamboo fitted with a wool cover.

I have used one at night too same with the BBH booster just had the bumgenius on large setting and put whatever you want in it. I now normally use sandmans with cover at night with no worries but obviosly have the bumgenius there as i use them through the day but if i run out of sandmans i know i can always use my bumgenius

I've also been thinking of getting a sandmans or two to try, I've just googled it with no success. Where can I get my hands on one? :D
Would prefer to buy online and new...

I'm not sure how much they are on her webiste, but she has some on Ebay for $40 including postage. Just type 'Sandman Nappy' into the Ebay search engine.

My DD is 12 months old and a VERY heavy wetter and I've finally got over my night phobia and put her in a BumGenius and it blew me away. AMAZING. Nailed every single disposable I've ever tried and I am sooooooo happy.

It is boosted just with the one that comes with the nappy and then another one the same (only a bit smaller). I also pop a BBH Magicalls mini booster (bamboo) in there and it's good for 14 hours or more. Not too bulky, super soft and lovely. NO leaks - you wouldn't even know that she'd wet it at all.

Simply astonishing. I cannot say enough good things about BumGenius for night time.

I used a Bumgenius the other night stuffed with an Issy Bear day booster and a bamboo booster. Worked fine.

I find the microfibre boosters that come with BG aren't much good for DD these days, unless it's only on her for a short time. But I still love the BG pockets.
