Slightly embarassing question.

I woke up this morning, just a moment ago actually, to answer my phone and got a slight wet feeling down there. Anyway when the phone call ended I was going to go back to bed but went to the loo first and part of my undies were wet.
Is that normal? It wasn't pee... :confused:

Edit: im 21 weeks if that means anything...

From now onwards you will have all sorts of excess fluid (from head to toe!!)!!! Maybe mention it to your ob/midwife but I think they'll say it is fairly normal!!

Consider yourself lucky this is only just happening to you now at 21weeks! I've had so much extra leakage (sorry for TMI) that i've had to wear panty liners since I was 10weeks and now at 31weeks...it keeps getting worse :eek:

for myy son i had leakage of membranes but luckily i was 39 weeks. to describe it the best way without making you all ill...i had to wear pads which got soaked quickly and it felt like having periods. you know that joyous feeling you get especially from sitting to standing you get that rush down there. try explain it to male obs though. i was admitted to the hospital but was told for 4 days i was weeing myself!!!!!:thumbsdown:

I haven't 'leaked since this morning, but I plan on asking the midwife about it just in case. My next visit is in a few weeks.

Ive been wearing panty liners for months now, they seem to help me keep thrush away for some reason. Last night was the first night ive not worn a liner in ages, typical hey! :D

The same happened to me on Thursday morning and I also thought my waters had broken or maybe i had weed my pants! Im 25 weeks along so its too early for broken waters! I read in my pregnancy book that you will leak extra from down there during pregnancy. Oh, your boobs will start to leak soon too. I read that it happens anywhere from 24 weeks onwards.
