Hi,

I have been ummin and arring about what to add to my collection next. Atm i have AIO and AI2 style nappies, and a friend of mine raves about the BBH fitteds. I was wondering if people use these and how they find them? Also what covers are good? the Motherease wraps have been highly recommended, but the BBH covers are 1/2 the price. Also BBH are discontinuing their woolen covers- so i was thinking about getting a couple and giving night nappying a go.

the big plus for me is that a i have a megga wetter of a baby, and a can boost the BBH fitteds a lot, as well as the benefit of the whole nappy being absorbent.

Down side is that it is the introduction of yet another MCN style, and has the added pain of the covers etc. Also they are out of stock till late Aug early sept, which i know isnt that far away but i hate waiting!! and the package i have tentatively ordered works out at $35 per nappy!! which is more than i really wanted to pay. also that there isnt a stay dry liner- so the wet bamboo is against the bubs bot bot.

So i guess what im asking is, how do those using them find them? are they worth it? and what are the better covers to go for PLU or Woolen?

We use the bbh fitted and wool cover for nights (12-13hours) , and never had a leak, that said, I find them vry bulky, DDs legs are wide apart and sticking up a bit, she cant roll with it on (which isnt a problem for us as its a night nappy, but could be a problem for a day nappy).

I use bbh fitteds during the day at home and do find them bulky. I use them with pul bbh covers. They have good containment an I'm yet to have a leak.

I have hemp fitteds but would like to try some bamboo with woolen covers for night( hate to wait too!).

I've just started using a BumGenius pocket with two of their boosters and one BBH mini booster. Works a treat. Get 13 hours out of it without it even looking like it's going to start leaking. Tonight will be our second night so I'll let you know how it goes - but to say I was amazed is an understatement.

It's only a tiny bit bulky, she's quite comfortable in it, and you don't need a cover.

i tried them but, as i dont like fitteds in general, i didnt like the BBB fitteds they were really bulky, felt stiff when they got wet and DD would have the wet zone at the front but the rest of the nappy was dry so i saw no value in having the whole nappy being absorbant as being a selling point. i sold them off and replaced them with Ai2's instead :)

I havent tried the mother-ease wrap but they do look good - i like the gusset bit. I do use BBH PUL cover for night times. I did use the BBH wool which I found ok - but am a tad to lazy to lanolize wool :o I've also hear the thirties covers are good too.

I havent use the BBH fitted, just the magicalls, they dont really fit my DD well - but they are a nice looking nappy!

I have them and the BBH hemp but I dont like them very much as I dont like the idea of DD having a wet nappy up to her waist! Covers are annoying and I loose them! That said though, they work really well! Just not for us!

I personally don't like fitteds, but I used them when DD was little - never overnight though. I always found her skin would be wet when I changed her. Find covers annoying and bulky too.

Last night I used a Bumgenius stuffed with an Issy Bear booster and another bamboo booster. Worked as well as any of my night nappies:)
