Can anyone recommend a nappy disposal bin?

What is the baby U nappy safe bin like? I like the idea of no ongoing costs with the units (which the tommy tippy has)

THanks

I've actually got a kitchen/food tub that works a treat. Its one of round those ones that you push together the little tabs on the lid to close and seal it. Because its designed for food storage its airtight - which is great for smell containment!. Its easy to open/close with one hand too.

Only down side is its a little small (about 5L), ok for disposables because it takes 2 days worth and I try to empty it oftern anyway. But doesn't fit 2 days of cloth so
I'm looking for a bigger one. I've tried looking for a proper nappy bin but can't find one as convenient and well sealed as these.

i have the tommee tippee one but the cartridges seem to last a while, we mainly only use it for poo nappies my DS is 12 weeks old and we've only just put the 2nd cartridge in. I love it, so glad i got it. We got it on sale at babies galore, instead of $80 just for the bin it was $80 but came with 5 or 6 cartridges 1 of which is for an older bub and the others were for a younger bub, i think the bigger cartridges are for 6 month old plus, dont think we'll need to buy cartridges at all so if you can get it on a sale like that it might be ok for you

I have the Baby U one and I love it. You can use regular shopping/plastic garbage bags in it so the ongoing costs are minimal.

We just use a kitchen tidy type bin - one with a foot pedal and lid. It takes the regular supermarket shopping plastic bags so you don't have to buy anything special to fit.

Works really well for us - seals in any smells and sits in the corner out of the way.
