Is there much difference between Wool and Fleece when it comes to nappy covers?
Does either work better or need different care/washing etc? I'll be using it for Ds's overnight nappy and hoping it lasts 13 hours.
& any recommendations of good brands or styles?? :)
Thankyou muchly!
I've never used fleece covers, so don't know much about that, but we do have BBH wool covers, and so far I've found them very good. Wool is self cleaning, so you only need to wash it every 3-4 weeks unless soiled, however when you do wash it it needs to be done separately and then lanalised, and takes ages to dry.
BBH have there covers on sale for $15 atm, maybe try one and see if it works for you? If you have a rep near you then you don't need to pay postage either.

i believe fleece is easier to care cos you dont have to lanolize it...so I hear...
I use a PUL cover cos I just cant be bothered washing and re-lanolizing the wool.
If i was to use wool, I'd definately go with ones with velcro tabs and not the pull up type ones, unless they were longies. I've found the pull up ones (like an undie shape) dont seem to fit my DD legs.

i had a bbh wool cover once, big no no as DD was a commando crawler at the time and she she would crawl around the velcro snagged on everything and it kept coming undone.
i was told to try a loveybums wool cover or a good quality knitted soaker/longies is the best way to go

Thanks ladies.
Ive ordered a Bear bottom Fleece cover to try. Ds has just reached the weight for the large, so it should fit nicely as his not toooo chubby . Hope it works out well.

I recommend a Disana wool cover for night time, as that's what I use and they are very good just a bit bulky. I have BBH wool and they work well and I have wool soakers with double stitched crotches for my super weer. I buy my soakers off OzeBaby and a lady who makes customs on Oztion, WoolieButtCovers or something.
