I haven't tried them, but to me they aren't really that OSFA because they are only up to 5kgs while other OSFA are up to 16kgs+, that's why i won't consider them

Only 5kgs?? Hmm don't think so... Ds is 10kgs and nowhere near too big for them??

We have 2 basix which leak ridiculously, the couture is great though. Bit hit and miss, as i've heard endless horror stories from other bh members about them. I deffinately wouldn't buy any more for us.

I've just ordered four of the coutures. I think they will suit my bubs skinny long legs. I also ordered some boosters to chunk them up a bit. The customer service is brilliant! I'm really happy so far, and hopefully they work well for my little man coz they are sooooooo cute :)

Hmmm I liked them when DD was little, but recently (6-7 months old) they just weren't able to cope with her wees. There was no way they were going to fit for much longer either - even though they are supposed to be osfm. Very small in the waist and not stretchy. Thumbs down from me:o

Hate them!! I only have one and it has never fit DD properly and always leaks. I never use it anymore. It also isn't very well made in comparison to every other MCN I own.

Thanks ladies. My little man is a chubby little one both in the thighs and tummy. I was very interested to see how they fit on chubby boys. =)
Didn't want to waste my money.

I have had good experiences with both the coutures and the basix. No leaks what so ever and they can last as long as any other nappy in my stash. They are not as well made as some of the WAHM nappies when you look closely as them, but they have some great patterns in their range. I give them the thumbs up :D
But I have heard other people having horror stories with them, like any nappy it is all trial and error

i have seen one in real life at a friends house. my jaw dropped when she told me how old it was. it looked like it was on its last legs. not very pretty after a few washes

cosmetically the basix dont hold up so well the coutures are better for that. Work wise smae as most nappies depends on bubs build and size. We have 6 basix and 2 coutures and never have an issue. I like them as a workhorse as they are easy for day care and daddy we tend to use the early morning after her night nappy comes off and havent had any leaking or wicking so for us they work well.

Other option is to try one and go from there that way you dont have a huge outlay and it can be moved on easily or swapped if you think it works.
