Hi Ladies,

I am just after some help with Weenees. I have only just invested in them and have just bought a whole load of Terrys to use in them, but the terries are way to thick for my little dude (he's 6 mnths BTW). What have you guys used in Weenees that you have found to be successful? And does anyone know where I can get good quality flannelette nappies to try?

Thanks in advance girls!!!!!!

Actil used to make good flannelette nappies, but I haven't seen them in a long while.

I'd try Babyco or similar first.

Hi LandShark,
I haven't used Weenees myself, but am thinking that maybe a hemp booster would work. Hemp is very absorbent fabric and is often used to make cloth nappies. I use hemp boosters to stuff my pocket nappies and find these fantastic for their absrobency and they are also much less bulky than terry squares.
If you need any advice on where to find them just let me know - a good starting point is www.modernnappies.org.

hi, hope this does not come to late, I just found this great site!
I have been using the covers since birth for my daughter and she is now six months old aswell. I find now with her size a hand towl folded in half then half again is perfect or two face washers folded into three each then put on top of each other. I spent good money on canninvale nappies just to find out they were way too big! I bought the hand towels and face washers at pillow talk. You can get canninvale seconds that are exactly the same texture as the nappies and they are cheap too

I use eenees and only eenees they are brilliant.
I use the microfibre cloth nappies made by eenees and sold on thier website (as well as stacks of other sites selling eenees). They dry super fast, hold stacks of wee and fit perfectly. I have also heard you can use half a terry nappy instead which should work perfectly, then i guess you will have to combine 2 halves when bub gets bigger.

I use the liners too to make clean up easier.

I use the terry flats my MIL gave me they were used on all 3 of her boys so are well used so they sit really well in the size 2-4.
The smaller sizes i found were better with half a terry flat or what i got my pack with off ebay was some terry towelling cut to fit the cover then a piece of fleece sewn on top to hold it all together so it looked like a pad the size of a folded hand towel. They worked really well !
Otherwise i have used my hemp inserts with a fleece liner when ive been desperate !
