Hi All
Just wondering if anyone bought a close and secure sleeper and if they found it handy or a waste of money? I've just noticed lots of used ones on ebay and wondered if they'd be been purchased and not used!
They're the cushy things you put in your bed or in a cot to make the baby feel secure and to limit 'adult' rollovers if the baby is in your bed.
Hubby & I wanted to get one as we anticipated there being nights bubba would end up in our bed and we have two small dogs who also tend to end up on the bed.
We thought the close & secure sleeper would help with the baby having it's own space, the dogs would be taught to stay off it (and consequently away from the baby) completely...
Any thoughts?

I've got one and it can stay in it's box.

The only good thing about it is it's night light...

Instead i got one of these from Baby Hood:

It's so firm and the cover is machine washable...

We had one with DD it was too big to fit in between us but I used it in the cot next to my bed. It was pretty average. Next time I am getting a tetra snuggle bed:goodvibes:

we used ours in the port-a-cot when we went away so that she didn't freak out with all the space. great for peace of mind, the night light was good and i liked knowing she had good airflow.

that said we did only use it about 6 times before she grew out of it, which at a cost (on sale) of $45 was not the most cost-effective purchase we've ever made, but we don't regret it. (plus its in great condition so we'd use it with the next bub for the same purpose)
