View Full Version : Can Panadol affect temping?

According to my own calculations, and fertility friend, last month I ovulated on CD18. This month I had .3 drop in temp on CD14, and the only other (relevant) time this happened was CD18 last month.

So I was expecting a spike today (CD15). I woke up at about 4am with a headache, and took 2 panadol and went back to bed. I got another 2.5hours sleep. Normally going to the bathroom a few hours before taking my temp doesn't make much difference to my temp.

Would Panadol affect my temp? Or should I assume that I haven't ovulated yet?

Here are my current and previous charts: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/chartreview_module.php

Thanks very much in advance!

HI VikkiB,

Thanks for your question. Events such as what you have described can sometimes slightly delay ovulation and sometimes a delay in temperature spike post ovulation is a 'trend' in some women's cycles (I'd have to be able to see your charts--I couldn't 'get in' needed password).

If you'd like to send your charts again in a different format perhaps I'd be very happy to review for you.

I hope this helps.

With fertile blessings,
