Hi!

It still feels crazy to call myself a mum! I think I typed it and deleted it a few times because it looked so odd! My name's Tanya and I live in Brisbane, I move around alot so it's useless saying I'm from a particular suburb, when no doubt I'll be from somewhere new within a few months :D At the moment I'm on the northside, previously lived in Indooroopilly and Kangaroo Point. Moving again in a few months and not sure whether I'm going back to inner city, or bayside.

Anyway! 23 years old in a month, finding it hard to find girls my age that are into the same things as me - but as I just said recently to someone, at least now I've got one thing in common with this entire community - a baby! I've got a little (hah!) boy of almost six months, his name is Seth. My partner Jared is 31 and a tattoo artist in fortitude valley.

So hi everyone, and if anyone wants to chat let me know!

I'm wrapped up in my little boy but perfectly capable of not having a baby-saturated conversation (unless I'm holding him and dealing with drool!). I've had a really tough few months (severely anemic, anxiety, lonely), a really tough birth (gah! flashbacks at just writing that!) and am just starting to pull through everything (best feeling in the world). I'm more than happy to blab on about all the problems I've been through, but just as happy to be a listening ear to anyone else.

I love comics, zines, art, anything creative. I'm a vegetarian, bordering on vegan (but am in no way at all the irritating pro-active type). I just thought I'd mention it in case anyone goes the same way! I love music and gigs, although I never manage to get to any anymore. Music taste is varied, right from guns n roses to michael jackson! But predominatly love indie stuff, the grates being a favourite at the moment (a bit biased as the lead singer is an old school friend of mine). Really love anything rock-a-billy, 50's, indie movies, i love johnny depp and am addicted to buying magazines (yen, frankie, monster children, empty just to name a few :p )

Anyway, I'm not sure how much people tolerate rambling in an intro thread, so hi gals and happy to chat to anyone! My msn is de_minimus@hotmail.com.

I don't meet many other seth's :D I think once he starts talking and calling me that, it'll sound more familiar, at the moment - I rarely hear myself called that so it sounds foreign. Nice to meet you!

And thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
