Hi all, this is my 1st time here and I'm so happy I've found it! It's nice to know other people are going through what we are. We have been trying now for 7 months, Im 23 Hubby 25. I suppose I just really need help to get my mind off it. The past 7 months has been hell, just because of all the pg tests I have bought and time and effort thinking about it. You all sound like fantastic mothers and I would love to talk to anyone who has tips in thinking about anything but TTC. The main thing that bothers me is that everyone keeeps saying "it will happen when you least expect it and dont think about it!" This hurts because I feel I am trying my best not to.
I was reading about the tips on TTC and I did'nt even know the temp thing and ovualtion tests existed. Thanks girls!:)

Hi Joanne,
Good luck TTC :fingerscrossed: you get a BFP here. There is so much great information and support on this board, I know I'm glad to have found it.
Just wanted to say hi and let you know you are not alone ...... hope you get that BFP soon. :fingerscrossed: Definitely try temping - it will help you to get to know your cycle. You should join www.fertilityfriend.com Good luck :)

:fingerscrossed: Goodluck with TTC!
I am 23 too and had been told I wouldnt have kids but I have an 11 month old son!!
We will be TTC #2 towards the end of 2006 or start of 2007.
 Good luck with TTC, and don't worry, I think most of the ladies here have been given "helpful" advice :banghead: at one time or another, and this is a great place to vent when it all gets too much!

I was and still am in the same boat as you. When my DH and I started TTC my DS it took three months (but we BD almost every day - seriously my DH had no choice), and I finally got my BFP. But when we were trying everyone around us fell pregnant, which made me feel alot worse.
Now we have trying for baby #2 for 6months and no luck, but we BD not as much as the first time, so as of June I have just started doing my temps, OPK, Maybe Baby, checking my CM, and using fertility friend. I'm now very familiar on what is going so :fingerscrossed: this will be a lucky month.
As I have gathered checking your temps only lets you know when you have ovulated. (as i did realise it last month).
Good Luck - and remember you are not the only one :hugs:

Hi Joanne
I am ttc#3 but I know how hard it is getting so many bfn we have been ttc#3 now since DD was 2.5yrs and she will be 7yrs old this year
Stay positive my best advice is to just relax don't worry or stress and let thing happen naturally I know this sounds hard and it took me a while to follow my own advice.
PM if you ever feel like at chat
:fingerscrossed: you get your BFP soon

Hi Joanne:wave:
I was 22 when we conceived DD, it took us 11 months!!:banghead: I totally understand the frustration and devestation evrytime you get your hopes up then get a neg HPT. As hard as it is to hear, we finally conceived, when we just let go of the anxiousness - but it took all that time to know how to stop thinking about it, it's very hard.
If you want to save some money on HPTs, there's a site fertilitynaturopath.com.au that sells them really cheap, I just got 100 for 35.95 (including postage!)
And for abreviations, there should be a sticky thread about them in the main forum page;)
