Hi,

I have been TTC for over 10 months now with no success (although 1 chemical preg).
When I went off the pill I also stopped taking aldactone, which I had been on for years. I'm aware that aldactone should not be taken while TTC, however, I am desperate without it.
My skin is now very oily and my chin has broken out in pimples. It is making me miserable that not only can I not get pregnant, but I also now have bad skin.

My question is, is there something natural that can be taken with a similar effect to what aldactone has, that would be safe to take while TTC (even if it has to be stopped once pregnancy is achieved).

My doctor does not believe I have PCOS.

Thanks.

Hi Blasko,

Thank you for your question and I do feel your concern.

It sounds like your body needs a little fine tuning right now. Certainly there are lots of natural treatments that can be beneficial to you however you really need a holistic approach from inside-out.

It really sounds to me like you, your partner and your prospective baby would greatly benefit from some dedicated preconception health care preparation. Being at your optimum health at the time of conception will also help you create a much healthier, comfortable and complication-free pregnancy.

There are two main ways of doing this: 1) You could do the bulk of the work yourself if you grab yourself a copy of my Natural Fertility solution Take-Home Program (more information on my website); 2) Alternatively you can find the assistance of a naturopath with a track record of helping couples conceive and create truly healthy babies to assist you in your process.

Herbal medicines can be very helpful in addressing the symptoms and the underlying causes of the imbalance that is causing your skin to break out as well as being an excellent way of boosting your natural fertility.

You may also benefit from a free subscription to my Natural Fertility Booster, a weekly publication where you will have a access to a whole lot more information on how to fine tune you and your partner’s body in order to create the healthiest possible baby.

I hope this helps.
