hi i've actually been trying to find this out lately for a friends baby shower. Most popular idea was to get everyone, including mum to put a cloth nappy on a doll, using pins blindfolded. Sounds silly but could turn out to be hilarious. Another is for mum to put a peice of string around her belly - then the guests have to cut peices of string, guessing how big mums belly is. thats all i've come up with so far - would also love more ideas

Yeah thats a good one, i played it at my sisters baby shower. We also played one were everyone has a disposable nappy all wrapped up like its been used(gross) and everyone has to open there nappy and the one with the dirty nappy( we put mustard in one) wins. If i think of any more ill let you know.

I've been to plenty of baby showers. Here's a list of games we played.
- scrambled up baby words and the guests have to unscramble them quickest in a minute
- hold a doll with a cordless phone at your ear whilst trying to peg on little baby clothes to a drying rack. The fastest person who hangs up the most clothes wins
- every guest gets a saftey pin when they arrive and they are not allowed to say the word 'baby'. Who ever catches them saying the word gets their saftey pin. The person who has the most pins by the end wins
- Guessing all the different baby foods from the tins/jars
- All the guests guessing how big you are with toliet roll paper. I was 9 squares and you'd be surprised at all the guesses
- put baby items on a tray and everyone has to guess how much they cost.
Mmmmmmmmmm that's all I can think of at the moment, but have you tried to do a search on google or yahoo for baby shower games?
I just had little choc bars as rewards.
Hope this helps,
Kylie
I've been to a couple of baby showers and the "string one" was done,as well as a "dummy spit",where everyone has a dummy to spit out and whoever's goes the furthest wins a prize.
Guessing the sex, weight, and the date the baby is actually born was another,(obviously prize was given after bub was born!)and another was guessing how many jelly baby lollies were in a jar.A small prize was given to the winner.
Another one which I have done before is as each guest arrives you give them a piece of ice in a cup with a plastic baby (just got some from spotlight) inside (freeze the day before as you would normally do in your icetray just adding the babies. They are not allowed to touch the ice in any way. The first person to have there ice fully melted must say my waters just broke and they are the winner. The person who won when I saw it done added some of her drink to her cup to help the ice melt!

Hi there,
My girlfriends threw me a wonderful babyshower. We played a few games and here they are.
Baby Bingo (just use google search and a whole range of bingo boards will come up and you can print them out)
Fill a plastic baby bottle with coloured cotton balls and play 'guess how many'
Play a quiz based on how well you all know the Mother to be eg. Favourite Movie, book and food.
Have a fabulous shower!!!!

Hi,
I'm holding a baby shower for my sister in September.
We're having a mystery baby photo contest.
- Ask each guest to bring a baby photo of themselves. When all the guests have arrived, tape all the numbered photos onto a large piece of cardboard. Give each guest a peice of paper to write who they think the babies are.
The winner gets a small box of chocolates. Have a few smaller runner up prizes.
hi
i too am having a baby shower in sept.
i bought a baby shower pack from ebay which was full of games, little mini nappies which have " thank you for attending my baby shower"
and some other items
it was only 20 odd dollars and so worth it.
its fantastic the girl who makes them is a genius

I have just had my baby shower and I found a game that doesnt require pens and lots of writing.Just quote small snippets from a child nursery rhyme and the guests have to guess the title of the rhyme. As a party favour we got little pots filled them with rice of coffee beans placed a bic biro in it with a fake gerber flower on top of the pen by hot glue and coloured the blue of the biro's outter casing with green paint. Then we stuck a miniture babies on top of the flower. It is really handy cos no-one knows its a pen except you and you'll always find one to write with next to the phone.
