Sunshine Coast Doula

Hi!
First up, is there a support group on the Sunshine Coast for Doula's?
I cant find one and if there isnt, are there any Doula's out there interested in forming a support group/organisation?
Im a Doula in training and have already had several women contact me who wanted fully qualified Doula's or wanted a Doula with a specific area of expertise.
I was unable to offer any referrals or recommendations other than passing on website addresses.
If we had a Group we could offer support aswell as back-up Doula services and a more effective referral system.
Im aware some Doula's may see other Doula's as 'competition' but I am personally a Doula to help raise awareness about empowering woman during birth and feel that fitting them with the best Doula for them can only be a positive thing!
It may also we useful for trainee doula's looking for mentors and other Doula's to work with and learn from.
If there was a centralised access for Sunshine Coast Mums to find Doula Services and everything they need to know about Doula's this may encourage more mums to seek a Doula or even raise awareness of Doula's on the Sunshine Coast.
Any thoughts on this idea- Doula's or Expectant parents out there?
