I love my clothies!! I started about 3 months ago and there is no looking back...Am thinking I will need to buy a few more for my stash as every now and again I will run out when the weather is crap etc.
I have:
*Itti d'lish snap ins and AIO - but the snap ins work a treat...so much better than the AIOs, *Some BBH Magicalls - I don't LOVE these...They take a LONG time to dry and actually leak the most!! :no:
*Some ebay ones that I bought just to bulk it up - they are very good for the price, but not super reliable...
*A few other odds and ends...
Anyway, DD is chubba...I was thinking of buying a few more...
What are people's favorites these days?? Especially if the snap in ittis have worked for you, BBH Magicalls havent worked quite as well, and you have a chubby bubby...

Hi. I am also a fairly new addict! :D
I have a chubby almost 12 week old DS.
Yep have to say itti snap ins are my FAVE so far, very trim and never a leak (although I kept him in the smalls a few weeks to long which leaked a little)
One of my most successful night nappies is a small minky BBH AIO stuffed with a bamboo trifold. It lasts 10-12 hours and NEVER a leak, so it's interesting what works for some and not for others!
I also really liked twinkle lily's although they are the teeniset tiniest sizes! He's already out of the S/M and I'm looking for some M/L. They are super trim but seem to hold it all in!
I've just put a HEAP of designer mediums and finding them all soo bulky. So tempted to swap them all for itti's! But they are probably just a little to big.
I've got
CGR's
Tots Bots AIO
Bubblebubs
Babyhosen
Iish Fly
Genesa Forge
Daddle Doo
Swaddlebees
Widdle wuns (snoozy wuns)

I haven't been using MCN's long, but I have Bumgenius and Haute Pockets. They're both OSFM, and I have the Bumgenius pockets and the organic ones.
My favourite are the Bumgenius pockets, they dry really fast and I haven't had any problems with leaks or anything yet (still using disposables at night though).

Hello, i am and Itti snap in fan too. My son went straight into large at 3.5 months because he was 9.5 kg. The fit was great, cos he is very chubby :).
how ever i have been using Bambooty Night nappies for my bub when he has naps and the Itti's in between when he is awake and i also have some bambooty easy dry (i use boosted). We are still on sposies at night. But my boy is a 5mo 11kg chubby bub, who Pee's alot. Im not sure if it makes a difference that he is a boy.

I will also be following this thread closely. I was trying to get some BBH magic all multi and fitteds with covers but they are out of stock- and have heard mixed reviews since, so im having second thoughts. :confused:

Fluffybubs!

I also love my minky Bonnibuns.

I also have a chubber (7.5kg at 16 weeks) and these two are great. I just got some WildChild nappies yesterday, haven't given them a full test run yet, but there looking good.

Magicals don't really work for us either, but the bamboo fitted with wool covers are great for nighttime.

Hi - I am a fellow addict, although I have only been at it for a short time - DD is 12 weeks, not super big for her age but with chubby thighs.
I change her every 3 hours during the day, and at night she is (generally) in her nappy from 7pm til 7am :sleeping:.

:yes: My fav day nappies are;
Ittis - so nice and trim and fairly quick to dry
Bambooty easy peasy - super trim & cute
BBH magicalls - work ok during the day, but do take ages to dry

:) Others for day are;
Bumgenius OSFM, GreenKids, Swaddlebees, Blueberries, Haute OSFM pocket (short time), Happy Heinys Pocket (short time)

:yelclap: My fav night nappies are;
BBH bamboo fitteds - with short and long booster and trifold under PUL cover
Bambooty easy nights - with additional booster under BBH wool cover

:no: Least fav;
Cushie Tushies, FuzziBunz

On the way;
custom BabyBullfrogs...can't wait!

Sorry for the long reply, I get carried away with nappy talk....:ecomcity:

Hmmmmm......

Fave workhorse - Bumgenius pockets boosted with bamboo and I usually use an Issy Bear day booster.

Fave nappies - Fluffy Bubs, Genesa Forge, Sugar Shots, Baby Bullfrogs

Also like - Abby Gro, Widdlewuns, CGR

Fave night - Fluffy Bubs Dreams:cloud9:

Don't work for us - Itti's, Cushie Tushies, Peapods, Magicalls and sadly I think Wild Child:( (still in denial about this one though)

I recently got a Nappy Chappie velour, and love it. It is so soft. It is a fitted though, so needs a cover. I also often find that only the trifold insert is wet, so I reuse the outer with a BBH magicall booster, then both booster and outer are wet at the next change.

I have an itti and an iish fly, and like both of them. I used my BBH fitted short snapins to get more use out of the shells when just the snapins have been wet. My BBH fitteds are my workhorse nappy for my bub, and I use an empty peapod as a cover at present, but I will switch back to wool covers once I get hold of some lanolin.

wild childs just work for us either.. I find the insert way too thin! greenkids also fall off DS :laughing:

my fav's atm are a new nappy I found called Sooki La La ... so so cute! Loving Bambootys too.. but I am finding I have to wash them a LOT before use to make them absorbant. Any one else found that?

No I haven't tried size 1. I had 2 in size 2 which were too big and I sold. Then the Bling came on and I got over-excited and bought 2 in size 2. Kicked myself afterwards.

They're just sitting there not even washed and I can't bring myself to part with them. Keep hoping that maybe one day they'll fit her, but I can't even imagine them fitting my 5yo! Massive wing droop:(

Ok. Woops.

I just went to the BBH site to check out their bamboo fitteds and came away with 9 new Magicalls - they are on sale!!! I am so naughty.

So in the last week I've bought 13 new itti bittis and 9 BBH magicalls. She didn't have any large nappies so it was a good buy - but that stimulus money was meant to go on BILLS and LIVING for the rest of the year - not nappies! I'm going to be in Trouble :p

I did the same thing, i only got 4 though. i had vowed not to get any BBH (after going to the trouble of meeting a consultant and picking out the nappies i wanted- we all know how hard that can be- to discover that they didn't have anything in stock except the covers!! and that they wouldnt be in for 2 months!!)

But i couldnt go past a bargain, and if they arnt much good, i can always boost them a lot, which is something i find restricitve with my Itti's cos they are so trim :).
Any new nappy purchase is a gamble but i have a good feeling :goodvibes:

I find it really annoying that a lot of the great nappies talked about on here are in such demand that they are really hard to get a hold of. No wonder we all become addicted cos you really need to know whats going on- or you miss out. :(

I know! I went looking at their bamboo fitteds for night and they'd sold out! Boo...

But it's the first time that's happened to me. I feel very loyal to BBH because of the AMAZING customer service I've received. Before DD was born and I was putting together my stash, I got chatting with the lady who owns the business (Davina) online, because I bought a lot of their bargain Magicalls off eBay when they were having that HUGE clearance. We ended up swapping email addresses and in the last batch I bought she included a bunch of boosters for nothing - she told me to expect a little `present' in the last batch.

We've stayed in touch ever since whenever I have a question, she is always fantastic, always asks about DD, she's just a lovely lady. So I was really pleased to have bought some more BBH from her because she's just so nice and I want to support her company.

There's always a few GF's on her site and FB are not that hard to get, but you do need to know when her stockings are on. A good way to keep in touch (and stay a bit poorer:o) is to go to all the sites of makers you're interested in and subscribe to their newsletters. That way you get notified of stockings:)

I might give them an email or a call tomorrow and find out what is going on. The rep told me to expect about a 2 month wait, but that was a couple of weeks ago. thanks for giving me a good story about them, i feel bad for righting them off so quickly, i will def give them more of a chance.

Thanks to Harriet for the newsletter suggestion- i will def do that!! it will be great to be in the loop- even if i might end up poorer :)

mummyJ- this thread has been great!! :flowerz:

2boyoboys - i 2nd Chesbyin that BBH's customer service is awesome. I find its easier to deal with them directly, via email or phone. Also def subscribe for newsletters and visit their sites regularly. You'll get a fluffy bub soon, just go on before the stocking(s) and know exactly what you want etc.
MummyJ - i love my BBH magicalls and bumgenius pockets, and bambooty. Great quality for the price. i picked up my bumgenius for $28 each though whilst i was still pregnant.
