Hi Ladies :gloomy:

Well i dont know if any of this will make sense but here i go..

DH and I have been TTC for 9months with no success we went to a OBGYN who did a ultrasound and said there are signs of PCOS but with the blood tests that were also done the results were inconclusive so now i have to go for all these other scarier test (dexmethasone, and Synathen and GTT + insulin) and after resarching what they actually are i am scared sensless with them throwing around the words tumor which inbalnces hormones etc :gloomy: so i have to go for all these test with little understanding and i dont go back to the specialist until the 25th of august as he is on holidays and that is the 1st available appoinment...i dont know what i want from this post but maybe just getting it off my chest :gloomy:

I don't have any advice because I know nothing about pcos or fs's but I wanted to send some (((hugs))) and let you know I'm thinking of you. I hope the 25th comes quickly and you get some answers.

I just wanted to add something which may or may not make you feel a little better.
A while ago now a friend of mine found out she had PCOS and the OB said to start trying straight away for a baby as the chances are very slim she'll ever have a baby.
She fell pregnant almost straight away and now has 3 children (2 girls and a boy).
So chin up sweets, it doesnt mean you wont have children, you just might need a little help.

:hugs: kiss and hugs to you. xoxo

Sorry you're going through all this hun. I hope you get some answers soon and get the miracle you deserve. :hugs::hugs::hugs: If you need to chat about anything PM me. I've got a whole host of fertility issues but I don't like talking about them on here but I'm on MSN so if you want someone to chat to let me know.

They do like to worry people down here in Australia. There are soooo many more tests performed that I ever had in the UK. I have pcos and had an accidental Esme . What worked for me, unintentionally, was loads of exercise, weightloss, eating really well and metformin. I suspect it was the metformin that did it. There are some pretty good treatments available now and loads of research being done. Don't panic - it's not necessarily a quick route to ivf.
