Just wondering if anyone can help. Olivia cut her first tooth on the weekend, she is 10 months, and now I can not get her to sleep in her own bed. She goes to bed okay, then wakes up around 11 as normal, but now I can't get her back to sleep. She lets out these really shrill, ear peircing screams. Its most unlike her, she does not normally cry, certainly not like that, and I can usually get her back to sleep okay. Is it the teeth? She is fine during the day and fine once she is in bed with us.

heya,
Is she fine when you go into her?
Both mine started doing that around the same age.from memory it is the age tehy start to learn they can fight sleep and stay awake..but they dont really know how to cope with the tiredness...
If she is ok when you go in and thereisclearly nothign wrong then she may be just trying to push your buttons and get intoyuor nice warm comfy bed...
Perfectly okay, laughs in fact. I was afraid this was the case. I actually just let her cry before and she fell asleep. She only cried for a couple of minutes, but she wouldn't go to sleep for me. I feel terrible, but at least she is asleep.
I just read the title of your post the wrong way... ear piercing and in ear rings.. duh I'm going loopey!
I did cc for both my boys and it worked fine for us, but it's not for everyone. It takes a lot of will power and being consistant for it to work. Have a look around and see what you'd feel happy to do.
