I found this and found it might interest others.
In 1986 the vaccination schedule was
Diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, poliomyelitis (2,4 and 6 months)
Diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, poliomyelitis 12-15 months
Measles, mumps 18 months
Diphtheria, tetanus 5 years

And before was even less. I wonder now how many parents see themselves as being as vaccinated as their children

I am a 1984 model and in both my brothers (1986) and mine blue book we recieved the rubella shot ...... why is this not quoted from your source?
So when was HIB, MMR and Hep B introduced?
My daughter was born in 1989, and I dont recall there being the mmr shot at 18mths, my dd also received the hep b, there was also another shot at the 4/5yr mark, but I cant remember what it was, maybe your info is a little flawed.

If you read the 1st post there isn't a MMR shot its mumps and measles.
And the source that missie has used is a government site.
I just had a look at my dd's blue book from 1989, and goes as follows..
DTP
SABIN
HIB... all at 2/4/6 mths
MMR.. at 12 mths
DTP
HIB... at 18mths
DTP
SABIN
MMR... at 4/5 yrs
All of this is from 1989, and the sabin(polio)vax is given orally back then.

Well as far as I'm aware there has never been just a measles, mumps shot, it has always been measles, mumps and rubella combined, unless pre 1989 it was different, cause I can go back as far as then. and I am sure when I was a kid many, many yrs ago I received all 3.

The 9th edition handbook says that MMR was introduced to all states but SA in 1989 (SA introduced it in 1996), Hep B for children at risk Nov 1987 and measles and mumps become a double antigen in 1983, Hib was introduced 1992...
This can be found on page 372 of the current immunisation handbook (just incase someone would like to verify)
