TTC girls & coffee

I think that I've read somewhere that when TTC a girl DH should drink coffee before BD.

Is this true/ anyone else remember this? Or did I make that one up myself?

TMI I have partial ferning and am preparing to BD as soon as I have everything set for my egg to meet a girl(hopefully)sperm.

Well coffee is a stimulant so they say it makes the girl swimmers swim faster. How true it is I dont know but I guess if you want a girl it wont hurt to try.

the boys already are the faster swimmers, but the girls live longer... I have never heard of using coffee..

According to the Shettles method if the male drinks a cup of coffee in the 30mins or so before BDing then it will increase the 'liveliness' (not his exact words! lol) of all sperm however will do so more for the male sperm (Y)


My DH has a cappachino and has even on occasion had 2 shots of straight espresso from our machine before the event! lol

:eek: we used coffee last night :( Hopefully the egg will be late enough that the boys have given up and gone away. If not, oh well, two boys for me to :hugs:
