is this a teething drool rash?
brooke has it all under her lip .. not on her lip , just under .. at 1st I thought it was cold sores.
She is drooling alot lately.
Should I put cream on it or just leave it be?
thanks alot

I put bepanthen cream on my bubs dribble rash....paw-paw ointment is also highly recommended.

Yep, it sounds like teething rash to me. I used to use both bepanthen & paw-paw ointment too.

Definitely sound like teething. Matthew had this all the time at one stage from the drooling and for the most part, I just left it and it went away on its own. You can use cream to help it along as the other ladies suggested if it bothers you. :)

I would leave it but if it does bother you & gets bad enough i would go the paw paw to help heal it. It will go away given time.
It also might be added to because your lo rubs her top gum over her bottom lip Boof did this when he was asleep so rubbing something like bepanthen wouldnt be a good idea incase she ingests it.

Ds has it so I went to the chemist and showed them, they gave me Silic 15 for it, it's a barrier cream of sorts, i've also been told to put vaseline on it because it will just repel the drool.
I have to keep DD's chin dry all the time otherwise she gets a drool rash.
And as she is teething I am constantly wiping her chin with a tissue. I find that creams make it worse, you want to get some air to it, keep it dry, thats what works for me anyway.

I have the same problem my DS is rubbing his gums over his botting lip and getting a rash under his lip!!!
DS has a rash all around the bottom part of his mouth too, but it's also dry! Poor bubba. I put either Pawpaw on it, or Sorbolene, but he gets upset whenever I do so it might be a little bit tender. Either that or he's like his Dad and doesn't like putting cream on his face ;).
