Is it because I believe its true so I'm subconsiously over-acting my champagne induced bubbliness, or is there actually a plausible reason for why 1 glass of bubbly makes me go :ecomcity::ecomcity::ecomcity::ecomcity: and a bit giggly?
A glass of white whine, red wine, or a spirits mixer doesn't have the same effect. Even two or three of them.
Triple the amount of actual alcohol content doesn't do it the same way one glass of sparkling wine.
I've had a 2nd and I'd say I've half way to being drunk and I think I could drink 3 glasses of white wine with a meal (as I have with the champagne) and not feel anything more than maybe a little light headed. And white wine has a higher alcohol content!
Is it myth thats manifested through my belief in it being true, or is there actually a reason for it?
Either way, I'm happy with it, because 2 standard drinks and I'm merry and I'll still be fine to breastfeed in 3 hours.
