I love minky, its sooo soft and pretty. My DD has about half her stash in it and I'm starting to by now for my boy (due in December :smiliedance:).

I keep going back to minky options but DH thinks they are a bit too 'pretty' for his boy. I'm sticking to neutral colours like green orange, yellow & blue.

I'm about to order some more inclulding bubblebubs so should I be buying fleece or smooth (pul) for him?

TIA!

They certainly can!!

We have heaps! Bubblebubs minky....pale blue, orange, red, yellow.

Itti bitti - almost all of them - including the dark purple one - it's a very regal colour and not too girly IMO. He has peppermint, royal blue, cow, tiger etc, lol

BBH magicalls - we have black, brown, red green, and purple in minky from them too!

Some of my Dhs fav nappies for DS are the berry plushes ;) How can the leopard prints be anti boys particularly if you can get tails to go on them :p  My DS thinks its like a fancy dress costume in summer when he was running around in just nappies and tops

:iagree: minky is for boys too! I think it really just depends on the colours/designs.

I think minky is cute on all. My son has several minkies, although my partner drew the line at some colours (spoilsport...).

Definately!! I can't bring myself to make him wear purple or pink minkys though, as adorable as they are :D Dew in magicalls is adorable for both IMO

I have 2 boys in cloth & 99.9% off their stash is minky. I loooove it

Besides auriel's & some beetlebums ISO's I have coming, I don't buy anything else anymore.

My boys also have lots of patterned ones, not just plain. My DP is against anything even slightly girly (hence why my boys can't wear babylegs :() & he has no issues with minky.

I say go for it

My DS had about 70% of stash as minkee nappies ... he loved patting his bum ... lol. DH loved them too ... even the purple ones (dark purple) were popular in our house.

That's good news - I'll keep shopping then. :yelclap:.

tommo is right - they're still bubs so they are supposed to be adorable not manly yet!

kotakai - i have to laugh about the babylegs, my friend had her boy in them the other day and both my & her dh couldn't get over why the little man was wearing 'tights'.

My DH was a bit worried about the minkee for a boy too but now he loves them as much as I do :)

My little man will pick a minky nappy over anything else. He also will pick purple or pink too. His butt his choice ;)
