I actually really like Bria- and Ella. Not a HUGE fan of Briella but there is certainly nothing wrong with it.:)

I like it. It's very pretty  If I had heard of it before DD was born I would have considered it for her.

It's not my cup of tea, but I can see why lots of people would think it sounds pretty. It's very feminine.

another nn could be Bella
Can you have a first and surname starting with the same letter? eg. Briella Brick (not real name LOL)
although surname is one syllable ?

Briella a thousand times more than Madison. Man, every second baby and her dog is called Madison these days. I'm really starting to hate it!

 we actually dont know any Madison's - but I guess that would change when bub is at creche/school.
Briella is a lot more unique.

I have to agree sorry! Nothing at all wrong with the name Madison - but it is VERY popular at the moment.
Don't think you will find all that many Briella's around. While it's not a name I would use personally - I don't dislike it and think it's quite pretty for a little girl :flowerz:
I have always liked Brielle (however you want to spell it - pronounced Bree-elle)

Don't like Briella or Madison, sorry. Just my personal opinion. I think they are both very common as in popular names.
I don't like it either. Sorry

 People are always commenting on how pretty it is, and how it is uncommon, which is why we chose it in the first place. We thought it sounded beautiful, and you don't hear it everyday!

I like Briella... admittedly (and sorry leah  :p) I like Brielle more, probably because its an old friend of mines and she's just the nicest person (hey, if its going to be a story about 'someone i knew... blah blah, at least its nice :D ). We haven't spoken in ages, but thats more because of how I knew her...
Anyway, I like it
It sounds like a nickname for Gabriella, which I have to say i much prefer.

If you really want honest opinions then I have to say I don't like it at all. Ella is gorgeous.

I think its pretty but unsure whether to actually name our daughter Briella.
So many cute nn's too like
Bria, Elle, Ella etc...
I like the Bria family of names.
Briella, Bria, Bree and Brearn.

Not a fan sorry. Not sure why!
I like Bree, I love Ella, like Gabriella, but don't like Briella.
I do like Madison - and as for it being popular, I don't actually know ANYONE called Madison, nor any dogs for that matter, and I know a LOT of dogs. Lol.
I like it - but i wouldn't have it, as our surname starts with B, and I don't like initials like BB. Also why I wont have a T name - TB.
I LOVE Ella, but DH hates it, this would be a clever way to get around it :)

:iagree:
Also anything with 'brie' in it makes me think of cheese and I don't like the idea of naming a baby after a cheese.
Although I like Briella a lot more than Madison....way too common these days.

Brielle is nice too....
I think because its still fairly uncommon it may take some people a bit longer & might need to learn to *like* the name..
I dont like the nn Bree much either, it does remind me of Brie Cheese but I do know a few Bree's and have never once thought of cheese when I think of them :)
