Just wondering if any of the people with fleece pocket nappies can help me here.

I just made my first fleece pocket nappy (yes, I know I need to get a life when that's what I do in my "break" :o ) and normally I put the soft tab on the outside of the "arm" so it be adjusted to fit little bubs as well as big ones, but it feels like the fleece that would fold over it would be way too thick and bulky to be comfortable.

Basically my Q is do you think your fleece nappies have only a single layer of fleece on the fold over part, or are they just bulky, or do I need to change something else? Thanks!! :)

Well i have thoroughly checked out my Greens Dreamytimes as you do lol yep i have no life either  plus i plan on making my own soon !
They just Make up the fleece nappy like normal so to speak then add the extra layer of fleece onto the crotch area ... does that make sense ? :o

So is that 2 layers total all over plus one extra layer in crotch area?

 I knew you'd be the first to reply - I think you should be the PR person for dreamytimes!!! :D

That sounds like a bit of overkill and would be very bulky. Some of my fleece pockets are just one layer fleece with a layer of taslon all over so it's not too bulky but still water resistant (taslon is breathable). Or you could use Malden Mills fleece (probably need 300wt) and just have one layer. Happy sewing :) I can't sew to save myself so get a bit jealous of all those who can make their own nappies

You obviously didn't see this nappy then - I don't think you'd be very jealous!

To clarify - when I was checking about the layers I meant 2 layers = outside + inside layer and I assume Ally was saying there was an extra piece sewn onto the inside ............. if that makes any sense :o

I'll give it a go tonight and see if it works :fingerscrossed:
