Hello to all,
My friend told me about Bub Hub and what a great place it was to connect with new moms.
I'm not a mom...yet....I'd like to be someday although our living situation won't permit at the moment. I'm a Canadian living in Perth for 2 years. I'm a sustainability practitioner working for an engineering company ...for now...
Partly in preparation to have a family and due to requests from friends, I'd like to write a guidebook for parents about sustainability.
I need help understanding what challenges you as moms might have. I would like to gain a better understand about the following:
1) What kind of "green" or environmental issues are on Moms minds (say Top 5 or 10 things)?
2) What kind of support or information Moms wished they could have easily or more readily? For example, if you had access to a Sustainability Practitioner for a day/week, what kinds of things would you want to ask them or learn from them to help you to be a "green(er)" Mom?
3) What kinds of challenges in going "Green(er)" do Moms have that they wish they could ask advice about?
4) If Moms could buy a guidebook about being a Green(er) Mom, what is one essential chapter the book would be lost without?
Any answers you are willing to share would be so appreciated. If you are willing to share, so am I and will provide you with a free copy of any guidebook I put together.
Thanks so much and nice to meet you!
Tracy :)
