Hi,

like many out there we spend alot of time hunting down good toddler parks - was wondering if anyone had some good reccomendations/reviews of parks in Brisbane? :smiliedance:

I'll start with

1. Oriel Park at Clayfield - great for toddlers with most things their height, two sets of swings, bridges, tunnel, slippery dips and even a train to climb up, (for older kids different climbing stuff too) and a bakery across the road!

2. Clem Jones Park at Carina - see-saw, two sets of swings, two slippery dips, bridge, flying fox and monkey bars for older kids and even some ducks in the creek near the oval! All undercover.

Any good suggestions? saves me checking out the duds!

Cotton Tree Park (I think it's called that) at Scarborough. It's on the main road beside the beach and is great for kids of all ages from baby to 12.

Has lots of kiddy things to play on and for the older kids there are a heap of trees all growing together that you can climb from one to the other, my kids absolutely love it here.

Oh, and they have an awesome fish and chip shop directly across the road so bring a bottle of sauce and you're set, lol

I also love Oriel Park but our favourite is Orleigh Park at West End - my girls love the "frog park" as they call it - it has a giant frog's head with the tongue going down the hill as a slide. We were there earlier today and there were at least 30 kids having a a great time. It is good for them to take bikes and scooters too as they get older - they have a path that does a circuit through the park.
