 I have been offered a job a few hours per fortnight as an accounts manager. It will be work from home which would be great with my 4 children.
Just have a few worries......
How does it affect my FTB?
Will I lose FTB B if I do the few hours a fortnight?
How much can I be paid before it affects my FTB A and B?
Any other advice would be great
TIA:flowerz:

I think its when you earn somewhere around the $4000 mark that you will start to lose some of your ftb b.
It's about $23,000 to lose all your ftb b completely.
I'm assuming you are partnered based on the figures i've given.

i think iv'e been told u can earn up to $160 a F/N before it affects ur payments ....
It depends on how much your partner earns. Its worth ringing FAO and asking them, as the amount varies from person to person (although there are limit amounts on their website).
Good luck!

Read recently on the Centrelink website that if you go back to work in the year that your child was born (not sure if , then you need to call the Family Tax Office and let them know. Your FTB B should remain the same for the rest of the year.
Only catch is I'm not sure if it was coming off maternity leave or not. But you had to call them and not just update your income estimate online.
Hope it goes in your favour.
