Well, I'm sure most of you know the Fisher Price Little People toys. My DS turns one around Christmas and I am going to be lay-buying some toys soon for presents.

I really like the World Of Little People Ramps Around Garage (http://www.fisher-price.com/au/world/products/default.asp?section=cit&id=21994), I think it would be fun for him to play with, and as he's a boy will probably like cars.

But I also like the Little People Animal Sounds Farm (http://www.fisher-price.com/au/world/products/default.asp?section=cou&id=28945) and think it could be more useful with teaching him about animals.

Then I thought maybe I should get him one for Christmas and one for his birthday, oh boy .

Help me :).

OH my! Too much of a choice! I'd probably go for the Animal Sounds but that's because I loved my farm animal toys when I was little!

I was thinking about what I'm going to Layby for Nugget for Christmas myself!! she'll be around 5/6 months old...... Hmmm

Hey Seekrit :),

DS has a Fisher Price Learning Puppy (http://www.fisher-price.com/au/products/product.asp?id=30871) that he loves! It's very cute, and educational.

It's normally $40, but I got mine on special for $25 from Toys R Us a little while ago.

My kids were given the ramp around garage one and they still love it, DS1 is 5 1/2 years old and DS2 is 3 1/2 years old. They use it with all of their cars.

My DS got the farm one for his 1st birthday and loves it. He also has the circus train and also loves that. A friend has a few sets and I really just think they are all good. They seem to be one toy he keeps on playing with when all the others go to the bottom of the box.

Can anyone tell me what you'd expect to pay for these two toys, might save me doing the shop around.

thanks heaps

I think the farm one is about $25-30. Most of the range in this size seem to be $19-30 and then the bigger ones up to $40-$50. The people in packs of 3 seem to be about $6-9.

Haven't noticed if one place is cheaper than another but was in K-mart today and they had sales on all toys and I am quite sure Target has a toy sale starting in the next few days.

The Ramps Around Garage and the Animal Sounds Farm are $80 (not 100% about the garage, but the farm is). I seen the garage for $50 something at Big W the other day and I thought that was a big difference from Kmart.

Then there are additions you can add onto them that vary from $10 to $30.
