How do i teach my puppy to walk beside me?

I have a 14 week old labrador and walking her is sooo hard. When i am walking her i have DS in teh pram and DD on her bike and Jade just pulls so hard. She ended up choking and spewing the other day so i went and bought a harness. We start training in 2 weeks but i want to start something now. Any hints?

what kind of harness? I use Halti collars, or similar, and am able to control 2 30kg headstrong dogs with one hand while pushing the jogger pram with the other. I highly recommend them.

There are various techniques for teaching pups to heel and it might be best if you find out how it's going to be taught at your course. In the meantime you could work on other basics like teaching her to sit and stay, and not jumping. Every bit of obedience pays off and will help with teaching her to heel because it gets her focussed on you as her leader.
