When did you get your period back?

It was about 4 months after DS1 was born until I got my period back. DS2 will be 11 weeks old tomorrow and still no sign so :D. I get really bad pains with my period so the longer it's gone the better :yes:
With DD1 it was when she was 15mths and with DD2 it was when she was 13mths!! Both were breastfed!!
I didn't mind AF returning after DD1 as we wanted to TTC no 2, but was not happy when it returned after DD2.
DS is 7 months and I still haven't got it back, not that I'm complaining :D buuuuuut, in a way I do miss it... does that make me weird?
I don't think it makes you weird, not at all..it is just craving a return to normality perhaps..
Mine came back almost straight away, despite DD feeding constantly. She still feeds constantly, and it's all business go.

With my first - at 15 mths
With my second - at 7 weeks! :confused:
8 months, 15 months, 15 months and bubby is currently 8.5 months and no sign.
With DS it was about 7mths, he was still Breast Feeding but was on solids from 5mths onwards.

I was jipped.
3 months after Isaac started sleeping through...which was 18 months. :)
I breastfed all of mine exclusively til 5 months, then as a 'drink' til between 9-24 months.
I got my period back before I'd weaned any of them totally off the breast, at 4, 7, 7 & 11 months respectively. So no 'norm' even for one woman!

After 3 months. DD was BF for 2y 1m. I think I should have got a longer break, lol.
DD is 7 months on Thursday and no sign yet. Hoping it will be a while longer yet.

two weeks after. i stopped bleeding from the birth for one week and then started the next and i was only breastfeeding at the time :confused: and still getting my period anywhere between fortnightly and three-weekly
With DD I got my period back when she was 16mo :yelclap:
With DS I still haven't...he is 12mo :D

3 weeks after giving birth. Bled for 2 and a half weeks. Then about half a week later got AF again.
1st time around... bled for 5.5weeks then within the week had AF again.
My stupid body seems to like getting back to being fertile asap.
I practise ecological breastfeeding, so my chances of getting my period are greatly reduced (so they say!! haha.... :no:)
First baby...5 months
Second baby (tandem nursing).... 6 months! :( Too soon!!
Third baby TRIANDEM nursing.... OMG 3 MONTHS!!!!!

I must just be damn fertile. I've been dying to whinge about this for months, thanks for starting the perfect thread for me to do so lol

DS was 19 months when mine returned :thumbsup: Now that it's back, 28 days rolls around pretty friggen quick (certainly seems that way after such a loooooong break.

My period returned when DS was 9mo despite still constantly boobing around the clock.
Hoping it will take a little longer next time ;)

DD weaned at 10 months and I got my period back pretty much immediately.
DS is still breastfeeding and I got it back when he was 11 months.
3 months with DS although I was breastfeeding constantly - even every 2 hrs at night. I felt totally ripped off!
DD is 9 weeks and no AF yet :cloud9:
When I stopped breastfeeding..
DS was 15 months, 8 weeks after that.
DD was 25 months, 6 weeks after that.
10 months and still breastfeeding and no period. Fingers crossed it stays away!

With DD, I was still breastfeeding and they returned when she wa 16 months.
DS is going on 11 months and I still have not got them back.
Gotta love Breastfeeding for that :D

2weeks with DD1 & it's only just returned after 9 months with DD2. I had a semi period come back 2 weeks before she fully returned.. And boy did she return!!! I was actually missing it.. But now :laughing:
wow, I had no idea your period could stay away for that long, I shouldv'e adjusted the poll. Oh well, we get the gist. I'm seven months and still going which I am amazed by but feeds have cut right back because he's demanding SO MUCH solid food so we'll see...

Bub is 8mths in a week and no AF.....I had a day of minor spotting about a month and a half ago, but that's been it thus far.......
