brestfeeding and periods

I am breastfeeding my five month old son and would like to try for number two in the near future, I was just wondering how long it took for others to get their period back? I am planning on starting solids at six months.

Mine came back around 6 or 7 months, when my little boy started on solids. I was still breastfeeding a lot though...?!
Everyone is different... Not everyone's comes back when solids are introduced... I have heard of some people not getting them back the entire time they breastfed!

My DD's almost 10 months, still no AF:thumbsdown: She's been on solids since 5 1/2 months, sleeping through since 3 1/2 months and only feeding 3 times during day now, and still nothing - very frustrating when TTC:banghead:

mine came back when i went on the pill, i stopped taking it as we decided to ttc #3 and after 2 cycles it has disappeared again.:rolleyes: i cant win

I didn't get mine back till dd was almost 11 months...was down to two feeds a day.

I haven't BF for about 5 months and i'm still waiting, and getting anxious :confused:
