Hi everyone,

How are we all doing?
Its getting exciting now, my EDD is 10.08.05
I'm up to weekly visits now for check ups, its getting close!

but I have run out of things to organise! how will I pass the next 2 weeks of waiting?

We put up the cot on the w/e and our 2yo DD thought that it would be great for her to sleep in as its in our room. a bit of disappointment there.

The capsule is in the car, and the change area is set up we just need a baby!

The relo's are starting to do the calling every few days thing 'to see if anything is happening' .

The end is in sight! I saw a beautiful 5 wk old the other day and remebered there is a reward at the end of all this. I feel like I've been pregnant so long I forget what its like not to have a bump.

Let me know what you are doing.

Hope everyone is well

Monica

Hi Monica,

It sure is!!! So exciting we will finally get to see our little bubs and kiss and cuddle them as much as we like lol!

My DD isnt untill 17/8/05 but after speaking to my OB i might be having her this thursday or onwards. So sooner rather than later  I have had the nursery ready for about 4 months now so i really have nothing to keep me busy for the next week or so not ever another child to look after!

Talk about seeing new babys...we went to the baby expo in brisbane on friday and there were sooo many cute little ones even a set of triplets 2 boys and a girl :D It just make me even more clucky!

I really have fallen in love with my bump over the past 9 months it will be a bit of a shame to not have one again and have to worrie about making it flat! Although i would really like to be able to put my socks on without my partners help or grunting like a pig to do it myself lol!

Have you hit that really tired stage yet, i think i have! Im also having lots of BH and pressure on my pelvis. Lots of fun

OOH i go on and on, SORRY! Hope you have a really gr8 day/week!

Yep like you ladies, I am also just counting the days. Cot is up, change table is up, have picked out what baby will wear for his first trip home even, all that is left is waiting for baby to arrive. Can't wait altho I actually have abt 4 weeks left but I think baby will be here a bit earlier cos he is abt 2 weeks bigger than he should be and doc feels, maybe we need to take him out a bit earlier - can't wait...

Good luck August ladies and here's wishing lots of rest and sleep before the bub gets here!

I am getting excited but at the same time a little nervous.

I have hit a tired stage and everything I do now is at a slower pace. Still walking the dogs and doing my Yoga. I feel like bub has dropped a bit as my heartburn and reflux has eased up and it looks lower! Funny today though, I looked at the oven and thought to myself "my god thats dirty!". So I am cleaning the oven tomorrow, he he he.

I want to meet my bub now! Our nursery is ready, car seat in. Looks like a couple of you will meet your bubs a little sooner than expected? How exciting!!! Make sure you keep us updated!!

Hey guys...don't i know what you're all going through!!! I'm due to meet my bub on the 11th, and i have done all that has to be done...just need the bub....I have had the room ready for ages (months!), and have all the clothes washed and packed in the cupboards and stuff...although i haven't packed my bag or anyhting yet....(something to do tomorrow!!).

I am getting to the cleaning stage, and plan to do the whole house before bub arrives, as i won't get much time after that i guess, what with a 2 yr old to chase after as well!!

Hubby has a 'feeling' that i'm going to go early, as i've been really sore in the groin area for about the last week or so, just walking or getting up and down is killing me....i myself don't have any 'feelings' whatsoever though! I think the excitement is just getting to him... though you never know, he might be right (i wish)!

Good luck to all the august mums out there, not long now!!! Hopefully these 2 1/2 weeks will fly for me!! :D

Hiya,

Its great to here from lots of mums feeling the same. Thanks everyone!

I keep having strange sensations and pains too and thinking will today be the day? Its my birthday on saturday and whilst I was happy for my DS to come out after that, I don't care anymore!

I spend alot of time with my feet up to counter the fluid, My DH says why are you sitting around so much, but if I go to do anything he tells me to stop!

I've run out of the cleaning bug, its just too awkward, and whenever I do much I get braxton-hicks tight tummy and have to go to the loo again!

another check up today,

Take care everyone
Monica
